moving and shaking

February is LOVE POETRY month for me again--the newest set of Quarter Poems contains 8 pieces of lyric poetry with a Valentine's Day theme. These include a couple larger poems Song for the Native and what can I do with you on my mind, which are split between several quarters. They are printed on deep red paper with newley redesigned numbers. Always, you can find the at Everyone's Books and The Twilight Tea Lounge. Get them singly, or purchase in $1 and $2 sets.

Last night was the 1st meeting between the artists and writers involved with an arts collaborative project co-curated by the Windham Art Gallery and
Write Action. I'm really excited by the different styles of artwork and poetry represented and I look forward to discussing collaborations in greater detail with some of the artists who were present.

I'll be moving to
Montpelier soon and am looking for contacts and leads on people, places, work, places and all the ingredients that make a city one's home. Please feel free to contact me with any info you may have. I'll be around town for a short while longer.

Montpelier is where I saw Ellen Bryant Voight read poetry a few years back when I was at the
Vermont Studio Center. It was also in the same area as a poetry circle I attended led by David Budbill and I believe there's a slam in Montpelier and Burlington that is frequented by Geof Hewitt. I'm looking forward to getting engaged in the scene up there.

Hi Phay. I have been thinking about you a lot lately. Ellen Bryant Voight was my outside examiner at Marlboro. She's lovely. Hope you are well!

Oh, I'm so glad someone's reading this blog--and that it's you!

Yeah, the BF got a job here, so I followed him.

BTW, thanks for keeping me on your mailing list. All the best to you and family. xo -p
