The winner of Montpelier Alive’s spring art contest is Marisa DiPaola of Vernon, Vermont, who produced a series of site-specific fiddleheads out of industrial foam and knitted yarn. Her installation is only up for a little while longer (it’s planned to come down once fall sets in), so please make sure to visit it at City Hall in Montpelier, if you haven’t yet seen it.
This project was made possible by the support of the Estate of Margot George, and the volunteer work of Montpelier Alive’s Design Committee.
